About Us


Beth Posa is a fully certified STOTT PILATES® instructor, a STOTT PILATES®  instructor trainer and owner of New Strength Pilates.  She has been in the fitness business for the past 12 years as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer.  She has taught Weight Lifting, Yoga, Step, Kick Box, Spin, and every type of exercise on stability ball.  She is also a Lay Responder teaching CPR/AED for the ARC.  Beth is also a Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist and includes that as a focus training in her studio. New Strength Pilates has been in the Missouri City area since 2006 and moved to our larger location in January 2009.  It is a privately owned studio and located between  Embody Fitness Center and Pet Country. 

We have a motivated team of STOTT PILATES® instructors that truly enjoy the work they do. Not only are they motivated, but have a great sense of humor.   They are all available at your request so ask for Monica, Katharine, or Kathy.  You can check out further information about STOTT PILATES®  at www.STOTTPILATES.com


Our sessions are taught one on one, duets, trios , quads and small groups.  We  keep our groups small as to service you, our clients, with careful and detailed instruction.  In our studio, you are always with a trainer to keep the training personal with the quality that you deserve.  Our mat classes are no more than 8 clients.

To use any of our services at the studio, we ask that you attend at least two private sessions. It includes detailing information about your health history, a hands on postural analysis, listening to your goals, and learning foundational work to begin your Pilates journey.

Your sessions belong to you and will be scheduled based on your availability.  There are no walk ins as all sessions are personal and scheduled. We kindly ask for a 24 hour cancellation notice and will happily reschedule at a more convenient time.

Kathy Walton 
STOTT PILATES® Certfied Mat Reformer

Kathy graduated from Texas A and M University with a BS in Kinesiology and Biology. Upon graduation she taught Physical Education and Science in the public school system for 6 years. After the birth of her second son she quit teaching and entered the fitness industry. She owned, taught, and managed a Jazzercise franchise for 6 years. In 2002 she discovered and fell in love with pilates and has been practicing and teaching it ever since. In January 2009 she began her journey into the STOTT PILATES® method of teaching and is currently certifiied.  Kathy resides in Sugar Land with her husband, Scott, and their three boys. Her philosophy, when working with clients, is to really listen to their goals and needs and then provide a safe, challenging, personalized work-out that leaves them feeling excited and successful.
